Serving Ripon, CA and nearby towns
Outages are common in California during heat waves and planned power shutoffs, which is why a battery backup on the opener matters here.
California law (SB 969) requires garage door openers sold or installed in the state since July 1, 2019 to have a battery backup, so the door still works during a power outage.

Battery Backup Opener Installation: frequently asked questions
How much does battery backup opener installation cost in Ripon, CA?
Battery Backup Opener Installation typically costs $450-$950 including parts and labor, and usually takes 2-3 hours. The exact price depends on your door and the parts it needs, and you get it before any work starts. Call (833) 435-8883 for a quote.
Can you do battery backup opener installation the same day?
Often, yes. When a technician is available we can usually come the same day, and common parts are carried on the truck. Doors that won't close or have a broken spring are treated as priority calls, and emergency service is available.
Is battery backup opener installation covered by a warranty?
Our work comes with a 90-day labor warranty on repairs. New parts and doors also carry the manufacturer's warranty. Ask for the warranty details in writing with your quote.
Are your technicians licensed and insured?
Our technicians are insured, and where California or Ripon requires a contractor license for garage door work, the job is done under that license. You're welcome to ask for proof when you book.
Should I repair or replace my opener?
A good rule of thumb: if the repair costs more than about 50% of a replacement, or the opener is near the end of its life, replace it. Most openers last 10 to 15 years. If yours is older than that, lacks photo eyes or rolling-code security, or needs a logic board or motor, a new opener is often better value. Springs are the exception: a broken spring is always replaced, never repaired. Our free repair vs. replace calculator can help you compare.
